The House (3)The last of three pictures from the field behind our house. This one shows our drive and the olive grove below it and also gives a clearer view of Valtopina in the valley. It is a very steep climb up from the Superstrada which runs on stilts as it by-passes Valtopina with a few hairpin bends along the way. The last part of the track and our drive are what is called a 'white road' which, in UK-terms means unsurfaced. In Italian terms it means loose stones, potholes and ravines! Spot the right-hand-drive car - not too many of them seen in these parts!
